Crabbing represents if the CHE is turning while it is “Working”

Crabbing is referring to operational definition not about the “NotRalenti” running engine definition.

For example in an AGV it is considered crabbing if any of these are true (active):

  1. Inputs to the equipment from the operator/system is drive in crabbing mode

  2. Making crabbing movement (AGV or similar)

It is not considered crabbing

  1. Engine running and vehicle not driving

  2. Vehicle is working but not moving

  3. Any internal element running (moving) or internal parts that need to be running continuously (fans, ventilation etc)
