Further Detail

O

Pivoting represents if the CHE or a sub subject is turning in place while it is “Working”

Pivoting is referring to operational definition not about the “NotRalenti” running engine definition.

For example in a RTG it is considered pivoting or doing carousel movement/pivoting if any of these are true (active):

  1. Inputs to the equipment from the operator is to drive carousel

  2. Pivoting right or left direction

It is not considered pivoting

  1. Engine running and RTG not driving

  2. Vehicle is working but not turning in place

  3. Any internal element running (moving) or internal parts that need to be running continuously (fans, ventilation etc)
