Definition

M

Twingap is the center to center (longitudinal) measurement between two center housing twistlocks of the spreader.

TIC Description

Further Detail

O

Only applicable if spreader is equipped with separating twin lift functionality.

This is a measurement used to position the spreader twist locks onto two twenty foot containers located (positioned with short side to short side) underneath the spreader with a variable distance in between. This measurement is only applicable if the twin lift functionality is activated.

Furthermore the measurement is used to retract or extend the spreader in order to create an air gap (of a variable distance) in between the containers.

Typically this observed property is measured in [mm].
