Carrier is ready for departure when all of its own activities are complete and only depends on activities related to the departure process. Vessel: Event when the vessel reports First time readiness to sail from the terminal and is waiting for the marine services provider (regardless if gangway is up or down because the gangway belongs to the departure process). All the vessel-related activities and prerequisites for sailing are done, i.e.:
