Rotation of the CHE around Z-axis to + or - direction (right hand rule).

The yawing rotation is about its transverse/Z-axis and is applicable to vehicles (above image) or equipment such as spreader.

Yaw represents if the subject (vehicle, spreader, component or machine) is rotating about Z-axis while it is “Working”

Yaw is referring to operational definition not about the NotRalenti running engine definition.

For example in an AGV it is considered to yaw if any of these are true (active):

  1. Ground is tilted about Z-axis of the vehicle

  2. Making yaw rotation

It is not considered turning right

  1. Engine running and vehicle not driving

  2. Vehicle is working but not moving

  3. Any internal element running (moving) or internal parts that need to be running continuously (fans, ventilation etc)
