“Terminalgate" is the process by which a carrier (vesseltruck or train) is using the anchor to maintain an intermediate waiting position on its way to the port (terminal) or after passing the gate facilities of the terminal, either on arrival to or departure from the port ( terminal).

Anchorage Terminalgate is a sub-process of CarrierVisit.Arrival or CarrierVisit.Departure process.

The Anchorage Terminalgate “start” event occurs when the vessel “Let go” (drops) the anchor (arrival to anchorage area). This may be in the approach towards the port or after leaving that port, usually at a designated anchorage area in the seaside vicinity of the port or river passage.
Anchorage “end” event occurs when the vessel’s anchor heaved in and nested (departure from anchorage).truck or train enters the terminal’s gate facilities. (either inbound to or outbound from the terminal)

Terminalgate “end” event occurs when the truck or train leaves the terminal’s gate facilities. (either inbound to or outbound from the terminal)
