The Subject is the executer (system/someone/something/equipment) of a job instruction.
It is complementary to the job instruction object.

In addition to the current CHE definition, also the following CHEs are to be considered:

  • ET: External truck

  • AGV: AGV/Lift AGV

 Components of the CHEs we should consider as accessories:

  • Chassis/trailer

  • Cassette

  • Spreader

  • Platform.

They are components that a CHE are being used to move cargo.

 

2. System

System is intended as the logic that tells the CHE and/or the actor what do with the object. This is normally done by a software. Examples of systems are:

  • Terminal Operating system

  • Equipment Control System

  • MMS maintanance Management system (CHE related)

  • ERP

  • ROS Remote Operating System

  • GOS

  • OCR

  • Reefer management

  • RTLS

  • Safety system

  • XRay

  • MRS maintenance and repair system (container related)

  • etc

  • PLC Programmable Logic Controller

 

3. Actor

Is the entity (human, animal, robot or any non cargo handling machine) that executes the job instruction with or without a CHE.

  • Equipment driver

  • Remote station operator

  • Mechanics (reefer, maintenance mechanics)

  • Clerks (hatch , yard , gate clerks)

  • Robots (like reefer plugging robots) ….?

  • Gate checker

  • Rail safety clerk

  • Deckman

  • System user (planner, dispatcher, control room operators, etc)

  • Operator
