O

This stage starts when the CHE arrives to the position of the container (that is when the Moving to Collect action ends), and ends when the container is picked or received.

This stage is not mandatory. Looking at this stage from the equipment point of view, here some examples:

  • STS Load: If the STS doesn’t stop to pick the container this time can be avoided. If it needs to wait for the Truck to arrive, or the container ready in the transfer zone or plaform, this time will be input here.

  • STS Discharge: If the STS doesn’t not stop to pick the container this time can be avoided. If it needs to wait when arrive to the position because the container is locked, or is a reefer not unplugged, or whatever reason, this time will be input here.

  • TT Load: Time while the truck arrives to the yard position to pick the container, till the container is placed on the platform.

  • TT Discharge: Time while the truck is waiting in the QC queue or lane, till the container is placed on the platform

  • RTG:  If the RTG do not stop to pick the container this time can be avoided. If need to wait when arrive to the position because the container cannot be picked, or is a reefer not unplugged, or whatever reason, this time will be input here.

  • Strad: If the SHT do not stop to pick the container this time can be avoided. If it needs to wait when it arrives to the position because the container cannot be picked, or is a reefer still plugged, or the Transfer Zone is used by an ASC or whatever other reason, this time will be input here.
