Berth Throughput TEU Density (BTpTD) measures the total number of TEUs handled over a defined time window, normalized by the total physical berth length.

BTpTD is calculated by summing the total vessel-handled TEUs during the defined reporting window (e.g., per day, per week, etc), also known as Throughput, and dividing it by berth length.
Berth length shall be the total physical berth length and held constant for the reporting window.
