Further Detail | O | A Work Queue (WQ), which is a specific type of Job Instruction List, is an ordered list of Job Instructions managed within a system for review and completion by users or an equipment. The Work Queue is linked to a Point of Work (POW) duryng its lifecycle. A Work Queue is used for arranging job instructions in order to streamline the workflow and improve productivity. A WQ can be active/not active (status). A Work Queue contains a number of (at least one) Job Instruction 2026.019, which are passed to consuming processes following certain orders and priorities. An active WQ should have at least one active Job instruction to be considered by the Scheduler/Dispatcher. EXAMPLE OF A WORK QUEUE: A load work queue on Point of Work STS 01: Load 01 below deck:
