It may support multiple conversion chains depending on the vehicle architecture, such as:

The Energy Supply shall be able to monitor whether energy is available to operate, supporting operational readiness (i.e., whether the vehicle has usable energy to work).

The Power Supply may provide energy not only to the main vehicle functions (e.g., traction or lifting) but also to auxiliary devices, such as:

  • hoisting mechanisms’ hydraulics

  • battery recharging

  • reefer-related power consumers (when applicable)

Without this boundary, motors could be incorrectly modeled as converters, or storage systems as distributors.
